For a petrochemical customer, POLPACK ZEUS prepared an automatic pallet wrapping station with perimeter guarding and controls outside the machine area. The project covered the machine, guarding, gate and access for loading and unloading.

The requirement

Space and access
We matched the guarding and access layout to the machine and the space available at the plant, separating operating activities from the automatic cycle.

Guarding, gate monitoring and external controls.
Guarded machine area
Full perimeter guarding restricts access to moving parts during the cycle. Limit switches monitor the gate position and prevent the machine from operating while the gate is open.
Control panel outside the guarding
The operator can control the machine without entering the area containing its moving parts. The panel position was considered together with the machine, gate and loading access.
The result
A clearer organisation of pallet wrapping.
Defined working area
The completed station has a clearly separated machine area and access matched to the operator's tasks. Guarding, gate monitoring and the external panel support safer and more convenient organisation of the wrapping process.
The whole workstation matters
This installation illustrates why choosing a pallet wrapper also means planning pallet feeding, operator access and the surrounding space. It is a guarded wrapping station; the documented scope does not establish a complete conveyor line.
