Pallet wrapping machine with powered pre-stretch
Wrapper E EVOLUTION

Pre-stretch up to 300%.
Independent film-tension control.

Wrapper E EVOLUTION is a pallet wrapping machine with an advanced two-motor stretch-film system. Pre-stretch up to 300% and film tension between the carriage and load are continuously and independently adjustable. Standard equipment includes a 3,000 mm column, a colour control panel, and adjustable turntable and film-carriage speeds.

Machine · film · load

Two motors.
Control over film use and load protection.

Evolution lets you adjust pre-stretch and film tension independently. We select both settings together with the film and wrapping programme, then check consumption per pallet and load protection in trials.

Pre-stretch: up to 300%

Powered rollers elongate the film before it reaches the pallet. Two motors provide continuous adjustment of the pre-stretch ratio, making it possible to match settings to different films and products.

Film tension: independently adjustable

Film tension determines the force applied between the carriage and load. It can be adjusted independently of pre-stretch to suit the product and its resistance to deformation.

The maximum setting is not suitable for every film or load. We verify material selection and wrapping settings in trials; a pre-stretch percentage is not a guaranteed percentage saving.

Designed and manufactured in Poland

Built in Warsaw.
Configured for your pallets.

POLPACK ZEUS manufactures Wrapper pallet wrapping machines in Poland. We combine machine selection, packaging trials, stretch-film supply and our own service support. For Evolution, we match the turntable, column, load capacity and optional equipment to the workstation.

Control of film and the wrapping process

Two parameters.
Independent adjustment.

Pre-stretch describes film elongation between the rollers. Film tension acts between the carriage and pallet. Independent adjustment lets you match film utilisation and the force applied to the load. We confirm settings in trials with your product and film.

Core equipment

Standard equipment

  • Two-motor pre-stretch up to 300% — continuous adjustment of the pre-stretch ratio, independent of continuously adjustable film tension between the carriage and load.
  • 3,000 mm column — standard column height; the required usable wrapping height is confirmed for the specific configuration.
  • Colour control panel — control of process parameters and 10 wrapping programmes.
  • Speed adjustment — continuous adjustment of turntable rotation and film-carriage travel speed.
  • Photocell — automatic pallet-height detection.
  • Manual operation and programmed cycles — select the wrapping method to suit the load.

Matched to your requirements

Options and made-to-order configurations

  • Turntable options as on Wrapper SA — diameters of 1,500, 1,650, 2,000 and 2,500 mm, plus an E-shaped turntable with a pallet-truck cut-out. Larger sizes on request; selection depends on the pallets and loading method.
  • Automatic film cutting — optional cutting of the film at the end of the wrapping cycle.
  • Film roping — gathers the film into a narrower reinforcing band; its application is matched to the load.
  • Electrically actuated top press — stabilises loads of different heights within the operating range of the selected configuration.
  • Camera integration — photographic records before and after wrapping, for example at successive 90° turntable positions. Camera coverage and image storage are agreed during integration.
  • Weighing and film-break detection — optional weighing system and electronic film-break detection.
  • Custom adaptation — taller columns, increased load capacity, stainless steel construction and adaptation for cold stores or freezers. Specifications are selected for the operating temperature and conditions.
Discuss your configuration

Selecting equipment for unstable loads

An unstable pallet does not always
require a rotary-arm wrapper.

We match the equipment and wrapping sequence to your product. A top press, turntable grip and film settings perform different, complementary roles.

Top pressure and protection against slipping

Wrapper E EVOLUTION can be equipped with an electrically actuated top press, stabilising loads of different heights within the operating range of the selected configuration. This optional top press helps stabilise the load as the pallet rotates.

We can provide a higher-grip turntable or locking fixtures matched to the pallet and load. These help prevent the base from slipping; selection depends on the product and loading method.

Gentle initial stabilisation, followed by the main wrap

The programme can begin with a gentle initial wrap at low film tension. Once the load is initially stabilised, the main wrapping phase uses settings selected for pallet protection. We also select the turntable speed.

A suitably configured turntable wrapper can handle some unstable loads. We confirm suitability in trials with your product, including its tolerance of rotation and top pressure. Where the load cannot tolerate rotation or cannot be adequately stabilised, a rotary-arm wrapper with a stationary pallet may be more appropriate.

Technical specifications

Standard specifications and available options. Our designs include a structural margin, and reinforced versions are available on request. This does not permit exceeding the load capacity confirmed for the particular machine. Column height is not the same as usable wrapping height; we confirm the required wrapping height and final configuration in our quotation.

SA or EVOLUTION?

Compare the film systems.

Evolution uses two motors for continuously adjustable pre-stretch up to 300% and independently adjustable film tension. Wrapper SA offers brake-based film systems or optional single-motor pre-stretch with a fixed ratio selected for the application and independently adjustable tension.

Machine and material

Match stretch film
to your pallet wrapper.

For Wrapper Evolution, we recommend high-stretch film matched to the selected pre-stretch ratio and load. During trials, we adjust pre-stretch and tension independently, then check film consumption per pallet and load protection. The machine's maximum pre-stretch capability does not mean every film is suitable for use at 300%.

Frequently asked questions

Do unstable pallets require a rotary-arm wrapper?

Not always. Wrapper E EVOLUTION can have an optional electric top press matched to the range of load heights. A higher-grip turntable or locking fixtures and a gentle initial wrap can also help. We confirm suitability in trials. The load must tolerate rotation and any top pressure; otherwise, we consider a solution with a stationary pallet.

What is the difference between pre-stretch and film tension?

Pre-stretch is film elongation between the rollers. Film tension acts between the carriage and load. In Evolution, both parameters are continuously and independently adjustable, allowing settings to match the film and the load's susceptibility to deformation.

How does Evolution differ from the Wrapper SA pallet wrapper?

Evolution has a two-motor system with continuously adjustable pre-stretch up to 300% and independent film tension. The optional single-motor system on Wrapper SA has a fixed pre-stretch ratio selected for the application and continuously adjustable film tension.

Which stretch film should I choose for Evolution?

We recommend high-stretch film. Its properties must suit the machine settings and pallet, and we verify the result in trials. Film thickness alone is not enough to make the selection.

Can the machine photograph pallets before and after wrapping?

Yes, camera integration is possible. We can plan images before and after wrapping, for example at each 90° turntable position. Image storage and the scope of integration are agreed individually.

Can the top press handle loads of different heights?

The optional electric top press can stabilise loads of different heights within the operating range of the selected configuration. Tell us the minimum and maximum load heights and the type of product.

Can Evolution operate in a freezer or cold store?

Yes, following appropriate adaptation. Specify the operating temperature, humidity and cleaning method. Stainless steel versions and taller columns are also available.
